First World War poetry: A reading by Charles Lock
As a part of the Golden Days Festival 2014 The Royal Cast Collection hosts an afternoon about the fascinating literature created during World War 1. Professor in English literature Charles Lock will provide an insight into the litterature of the soldiers in and outside the trenches.
Charles will begin at 2.30 pm, but the doors will be open from 2.00 pm, where refreshments will be offered.
The event is open to all interested people. It is free and no sign up is needed. We look forward to see you.
